This playground features a range of exciting play equipment, including a large climbing frame, slides, rope bridges, and a zip wire, as well as a separate area for younger children with a playhouse, sandpit, and gentle slides. The playground is surrounded by a large open green space, perfect for picnics or running around, and has a café on site serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Very nice park with children play ground, tennis courts and football courts. Its nice to visit for the whole family. The only down side is that there are no public toulets
I used to spend a lot of time in this park. I took my daughter there especially on when I taught Saturday School at Afro Caribbean Resource Centre. I used to help organise summerfield, Winston Green and Ladywood local Carnivals and Festivals and took my daughter to the park. I also taught at George Dixon Secondary School and my daughter went to the primary school next door so on the way home at times I'd take her to this park. Years years I took my granddaughter there too. After one of these visits I wrote Sundays with Nan about a child being taken to the park and singing Swing Low Sweet chariot whilst being swung on the swings. Our office was also near this park so I sat in there many times.
Its a nice place to take your kids for a play time, the swings have gone a bit wonky..and the activity play site needs a web net..there isnt much kids can do on there
