A Decent Stop for a Short Hike at Sundon Hills Country Car Park Rating: (3 out of 5 stars) I recently visited Sundon Hills Country Car Park for a short hiking trip, and while it provided a decent place to stretch my legs, I found the experience to be less than inspiring. Upon arrival, the car park itself was easily accessible with ample parking spaces. However, I noticed several cars with people just sitting inside, which struck me as a bit odd. I'm not sure what they were doing there, but it didn't seem to impact my hiking experience. As for the hiking trails, they were mostly through fields and over tractor paths, which lacked the diversity and natural beauty that I typically look for in a hiking destination. The trails were well-maintained, but the scenery was rather monotonous and not very stimulating. Overall, if you're in the area and need a quick stop for a short hike, Sundon Hills Country Car Park is an adequate choice. However, don't expect a truly captivating or memorable experience. It's a decent place to stretch your legs and get some fresh air, but you might want to explore other options for a more inspiring hiking adventure.
"Calm and cool, we can enjoy the walk while listening to the sounds of nature."
Beautiful walk! We walked from the car park all the way to the Sharpenhoe Clappers lived here all my life and only just discovered!
The walks in themselves are good it just the spoke using the car parks leave it messy and playing music too loudly can ruin a peaceful day
It's not bad if you're desperate to find a field for your dog to burn energy. Not the best place to go during winter as the woods area is very muddy and slippery. Also the woods isn't nice for views. Very unlikely to visit again.
