Panoramic views of Derwentwater & Bassenthwaite lakes from a clifftop with a bench & parking lot.
Amazing view at the top, little waterfall at the bottom. Parking is at the bottom or you can park at the top but I wouldn't recommend it in a big car as its a nightmare getting past other cars- its a very tight road in places. We went before the summer holidays so it wasn't too busy but i can only imagine how chaotic it would be when everyone is on holiday!
What a stunning place to watch the sun come up. Peaceful with stunning views over Derwent Water highly recommend a visit. Parking right next to the view point.
Absolutely STUNNING view..only found thanks to Google reviewers!! Thanks so much best to drive to top car park-1 min walk..all ages and abilities can access..and the views are breath taking!!! 40 mins walk from lower car park..Long narrow single lane road but fine if taken slow..make sure you load into satnav before you set off as we had issues with signal on phone..xx
Stunning spot to take in the beauty of the lakes. Impressive, even on a dull day. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're near.
Gorgeous viewpoint. Small National Trust car park ....definitely worth the drive up the single track (approx a mile long). We were blessed with some beautiful May sunshine too!
Beautiful views and a great spot to spend some time. We visited on a weekday around noon and were able to find parking in lot right on the top by surprise view point. Otherwise there is another lot on the way that may take 40 minutes to hike to the view point.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
