A picturesque village in Norfolk, England, surrounded by rolling countryside and woodlands, featuring historic buildings, quaint cottages, and a 14th-century church, St. Cyriac and St. Julietta, with its distinctive round tower.
Nice big area great for a peaceful walk especially with dogs. Spent about an hour and a half walking around. There is a section fenced off and was confusing where you can and can't go with there being some private farm land with livestock towards the centre. Car park is rough and small but free.
Car park could be a problem in the summer but apart from that absolutely fantastic!
First time there and really surprised at the size of the heath! I think we just need to be aware of ticks in the bushes and longer grass but looks lovely and clean. Pleased that the areas we walked through had NO dog poo.
Nice walk in the warm weather carpark is a bit muddy when it wet shame the barrer are up but it still a nice walk around there
First time visit for us, and saddened by the excessive amount of rubbish and dumped trade waste. Best bit was spotting a nice vintage car parked up!
Lovely walks but parking area can be very muddy, so take care. Also no dog poo bins and fly tipping in places - shame.
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
