5 star sightseeing cruise operator on Loch Lomond. Open all year providing 1 and 2 hour public cruises, private charter and ferry services. Located in Balloch village at the southern end of Loch Lomond, just 30minutes from Glasgow.
I was on a coach trip and this was part of the itinerary. When the boat arrived from its previous trip I could see members of the crew cleaning surfaces before we boarded. Boarding was easy & efficient, safety announcements were clear & the information relating to Loch Lomond during the cruise was interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, I only wish the toilet facilities onshore were more adequate.
Lovely loch, great views. We could only get a seat downstairs and it was quite noisy with people and the engines so we couldn't hear much of the commentary. We spent some time outside at the front of the boat which was really nice. However, we felt that we just a 'number' on the boat and didn't feel there was any particular good service offered by the staff.
Lovely trip with great history about the place and Scotland in general. Dog friendly too! Took a while before they started boarding, but otherwise great trip!
Wonderful 1 HR short cruise around Loch Lomond. We had been looking at going again as it had been 6 or 7 years since we went for the first time. Our grandson was with us. We had a lovely time, even though it started raining. We just moved downstairs into the bar and had a coffee and shortbread whilst enjoying the view with occasional audio commentary.
Booked in advance to do the cruise around Loch Lomand. The Boat was lovely, staff friendly & knowledgeable. There was audio en route to point out things of interest along the way. Gorgeous views took some amazing pics. Cruise took 2 hours & enjoyed it immensely would highly recommend x
What a wonderful way to travel on Loch Lomond. We pre-booked our tickets so we did not have a long wait to board. There was a bar, if that is what you like. But for us it was the interesting history as we passed various interesting historic buildings on shore and facts about Loch Lomond. The crew were professional and helpful. If you are in the area, take a cruise you will not be sorry. Oh, by the way......when your cruise is finished buy an ice-cream at the ticket kiosk.....you will also not be sorry
