Sweeney Falls is a picturesque waterfall located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park in northwest Wales, United Kingdom. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery and situated on the Afon Colwyn river, which flows from the nearby Llyn Colwyn lake. The waterfall drops approximately 10 meters into a rocky pool, creating a misty veil that adds to its serene ambiance. The falls are easily accessible via a short walk from the nearby car park, making it a popular spot for nature lovers, photographers, and those seeking a tranquil retreat.
Beautiful walk, splash areas! A great way to experience nature close up. However, I do think the young mothers who bring their babies would do well to take the soggy diapers home rather than leave them behind on the banks after a splash in the water. Seems to be marked in a few other areas too with cans, empty crisp packets
Went with my husband, toddler and my infant. Loved the stepping stones and the park. Nice, quiet place that's ideal for picnics and splashing in water.
Hidden away at Batford Springs this little "waterfall" is hard to get to. This means its quiet and peaceful even on a very busy, scorching hot summer day. A lovely place to hide away and eat a picnic.
