The kids love it something to do in all weather the staff on site are lovely always welcoming it's great that there is toilets on site and if you get hungry while your playing there are snacks, sandwiches, drinks hot and cold, chocolate bars and ice lollies.
Lots of play equipment missing. Older kids made us very wary and we left early. They were spitting on the slide. Not as good as it used to be. Needs a lot of work doing to it.
A lovely community hub with really fun activities for children and young people of all ages. I spent a day there doing user research for 2 projects and I was thoroughly impressed by the dedication of the staff and the people to keep the place buzzing. I painted pictures with under 5s and designed apps with teenagers - apps that will will empower them to transition to adulthood safely and with confidence. I loved the place! There was also an equipped workshop for young people to learn artisan skills, and a learning centre, all housed in narrow boats and a bus!
Ok. But not much to do, and nothing at all for smaller children
Great place. Plenty to play on, very open, and I love the two long canal boats which are used as a toilet and an ice cream shop in the actual park. The kids love it there and there are benches to sit on around a large long table or two, which is great for relatives keeping an eye on the kids. There is a little car park for the park too.
This place used to be amazing, then they closed to spend some money on fixing everything. We waited. The children were so excited to go back and enjoy all the equipment and have the broken items repaired. They were so disappointed when they went today and it's all gone. Nothing has been repaired and half of it has been removed. There was no staff on a Monday afternoon before 3. The place was deserted and looking very sorry for its self, such a shame.
