Talkin Adventures is an Outdoor Activity Centre based at Talkin Tarn Country Park, Brampton. Being near to Carlisle, we are the place for family days out in Cumbria. Rowing boats, canoes and kayaks are available to hire on weekends until the end of September. We are available for corporate team building days, stag and hen parties, school activity days and family events. Activities include Archery, Canoeing, Kayaking, Raft Building, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and the Treasure Chest. We operate a mobile service as Independent Adventure, bringing activities to a range of event venues and schools.
We had a fabulous time yesterday at Talkin Tarn. Our instructor was Amy who made us feel comfortable and welcome from the word go. She was informative and made sure we were all enjoying ourselves throughout the session. We had a young child with us and Amy put her at ease thank you Amy, we will be back in the near future
Had a fantastic time Paddle Boarding, with Amy being the perfect instructor! It was so much fun and as a beginner(me) and relative beginner (Diane), we were both standing up on the boards and scooting across the tarn after a very short while. Would thoroughly recommend giving it a go. Thanks "Talkin Adventures" and Amy for a wonderful experience. Trevor & Diane
Just had an archery lesson with Talking Adventures at Talkin Tarn with my wife. We both absolutely enjoyed every minute, our tutor was Amy who was brilliant, funny, witty but most of all very professional. Thank you for a great afternoon you, we will definitely be back!
We had booked the 90 minute canoe session with an instructor and had a fabulous time. Amy got us all settled and went through the basics before leading us round the Tarn with plenty of games and fun along the way. Would definitely recommend it for family groups like ours (4 adults, 2 primary aged children)
We had a fantastic time with Amy on the introductory paddle board session. Amy was upbeat and encouraging... even after I fell in! The tarn is a fabulous, safe location and I can highly recommend booking a session with these guys
Had an amazing experience with Talkin adventures. Booked raft building for a large group of adults and we all had such a fun time. The team were fabulous, were on hand for guidance and planned some great games for us and then they provided an amazing video at the end. Can't recommend them enough!!!
