Daily boat trips to Blakeney point on the North Norfolk Coast, to see common and grey seals in their natural environment. Suitable for families and dog friendly and fully compliant with Coronavirus government guidelines. Leave from Morston quay in our red and white boats and visit the internationally famous bird sanctuary that is home to the terns, oystercatchers and migrating birds as they come to nest. Spectacular views and stunning scenery. An exceptional trip seeing nature at its best. Fully qualified skippers and crew with lifetime experience, listen to the points of local interest and learn from them their much gained knowledge of the area. A fascinating trip, run by a friendly long standing local family for over almost 100 years.
A fantastic seal trip at 4pm with Temple yesterday. We were very lucky to be able to see many seals bathing on the sand and playing in the water. Temple spent time doing "circuits" around the seals and stopped the boat several times for us. Everyone had photo opportunities. We were able to get very close to them and even had a few swimming close to the boat. A delightful family run business. Our tour guide (Rachel) gave us a running commentary on the local wildlife and pointed out places of interest on the horizon as we headed out. Dad, Jimbo, was our Captain. A highly enjoyable trip with super friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely try to return in mid November when the seals have their pups.
We have just returned from a lovely trip to see the seals at Blakeney Point. Being on a boat with Derek is like being taken on a tour by your favourite (and slightly eccentric) uncle. But behind the laughs and his terrible jokes, his knowledge about the sea itself and the seals was clear to everyone and made the journey really interesting. From the first phone call to make the booking, to the quayside organisation and the trip itself, the friendliness of all of the staff shone through and everyone was taken care of really well. Our trip was a bit windy, and there was a high tide coming which made one of the ladies on the boat a little bit nervous, but Derek made a special effort to reassure her throughout the trip and all was well. The seals were spectacular and we got so close to them we could hear them calling to each other. A lot came swimming close to the boat to see what we were doing so plenty of photos were taken. On the trip back, Derek gave us the benefit of his knowledge about the harbour (as well as a few more awful jokes !!) which made the whole journey hugely pleasurable. We would thoroughly recommend Temple Seal Tours to anyone and will definitely be coming again. Thanks everyone for a lovely afternoon trip.
Wow! From the beginning to the end an incredible experience. Such friendly people who are passionate about their local wildlife and area. The booking process is easy and relaxed and the fact that dogs can come along made it a fabulous entire family experience. Derek and Robert were fab! Thank you
What a great day, we planned to go with another company, but we saw Temple and their boats - that sold us. They were brilliant, and they delayed the trip to ensure we had a seal experience. Very knowledgeable and in all wonderful experience. Highly recommend these guys
Had a super trip out with Temples to see the Seals There were loads of them! The crew are very knowlegeable about the different types of Seals and took the time to patiently answer the kids questions (even when they were repeated several times). Nice roomy boats, affording great views wherever you are sitting. It's go to be one of the must-do trips when visiting Blakeney, Wells, or even further afield in North Norfolk.
