Love visiting here, it is very relaxed, easy walking between bird hides. If like me, you love a bird of prey, then the Osprey are something else! Everybody is friendly, the toilets are clean and you can grab a snack and ice cream great place!
Amazing place, friendly staff. Binoculars for hire. Bird hides galore. Mostly flat terrain a bit muddy and icy on our visit but that's nature. Can't be all done in one day so already thinking about our next visit. Reasonable price given it's all charity based
Really enjoyed our time at Rutland water. Learned a lot. Excellent hides etc.
Fantastic place to visit, the ospreys were awesome and the whole place was lovely. Will be back again to explore further.
Fabulous nature centre. We were actually fortunate to see a a rare sighting of a 'hobby' who gave us a 3 min display . Stunning view of all the water birds too . Free parking and a calming, beautiful walking area
Lots of birds, many hides to visit, really nice not having to watch out for dog poo as you walk, just remember to put the permit for parking in the car. Car park filled up quite quickly and we got there before it opened. Sadly no sight of an osprey but it was probably a little late in the year as they had already fledged.
