A beautiful Victorian-era bandstand situated in a picturesque park, featuring a stunning octagonal structure with a intricate ironwork design, a elegant dome-shaped roof, and a raised platform for musicians to perform, surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers, offering a charming and peaceful atmosphere.
Pretty, flower-bedecked, focal point for town centre events, with lots of varied music being organised during the summer, weekends, in conjunction with markets, etc.
Such a pretty place. Two main bus stops are right next to it. It could be the weekend and you could enjoy a concert or show. Or you can walk by on a weekday and it will always be great. There are several benches and picnic tables all around, great shade everywhere provided by the beautiful trees. Such a calm and safe space. It is located right in the middle of town, near locally owned restaurants, coffee shops and stores. Really beautiful place to hang out in and relax.
I love watching performers on The Bandstand at the Market on a Saturday. Some excellent bands and great talent. Would love to see this more often.
The band The Gangsters were playing for free in the bandstand, great fun. And fantastic beer at the Beer Mine PS7.80 for 2 pint bottle of IPA
Popular place to sit and watch the world go by, also the venue for open air concerts from time to time.
Horsham is a shadow of it's former self. Now full of bland chains with most quality independent shops gone
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
