Cosy country pub with pool tables, food at weekends and campsite, plus tractor parking at the back.
We stayed on the campsite for 2 nights end of May bank holiday weekend. Campsite was lovely and clean and we went for an electric hookup pitch which was PS25 per night. We had a meal in the pub one evening and the food was great and good price I have rib eye steak which was delicious and my partner had fish and chips which he also enjoyed. Shower and toilet block were clean and looked recently refurbished. There was also washing up sink and washing machine and microwave on hand to use as well. We took a public pathway at side of camp and walked down to the canals for walks. Nice campsite and will visit again.
Unspoilt roomy pub with large camping/caravan site behind. Old school, male dominated bar at around 5-ish on a weekday when we visited. Old fashioned small lounge to the side with interesting books and games for all ages. 3 real ales on and pub snacks, but no food available. Sunday lunches were advertised. Days of yesteryear. Don't miss it
Just had an excellent lunch with a pint here at this hidden gem in the Vale of Pewsey. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced with starters, main courses and a small selection of sweets. At time of writing main courses mostly under PS10 was I nice surprise. The meals were generous portions as well. There was nothing that could be improved. There is even a camp site with facilities. Highly recommend this pub
Had a lovely stay. Great foodand beer. Facilities clean and modern. Stayed here 3 times now, once with family and twice with a friend group. Always a good time to be had at Bruce Arms! Harry is great pub dog too... kids loved him!
Just had two nights camping here in our caravan, Stefan and Dawn are very laid back and make you feel welcome. The locals are great too. We had breakfast and that was spot on. The whole atmosphere fear here is relaxing. Will be back regular.
We had a fantastic few nights camping here. The staff are great, the pub is lovely and reasonably priced. The food was good. Dogs are allowed and there are lots of walks straight off the site. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I would recommend to all.
