This 12-acre park features a tranquil lake, walking trails, and a variety of flora and fauna, including a sensory garden, a rose garden, and a woodland walk with native trees and plants. Visitors can also explore the park's playground, skate park, and outdoor gym, or attend one of the many events and festivals held throughout the year.
One of our favourite parks. We travel here from out of the area. The playground is wonderful and the river is like a beach for the children, on warm days. The only let down is the parking. It needs more parking spaces.
Such a beautiful park. On a sunny day, you can have the best time ever. It has wonderful green spaces, benches, a little stream and lots of trees. You can even make BBQ here. The car park is a small one, but early birds can easily get a space. Plenty of dogs can be seen. I recommend visiting this park.
The park itself is ok but it's sadly ruined by idiotic dog owners who let their dogs roam around wherever they like which would explain why there is dog poo everywhere (and wee) - then you have equally thick parents (who are aware) let their kids play in these filthy/soiled areas! Also, thanks to Cheshire east council it's no longer very well maintained either which is a real shame as it used to be a beautiful and more respectable park, when dog owners/humans in general were more decent and considerate.
Walked through the carrs to get to quarry bank mill and style village and woods
What a wonderful park to visit, it's very well kept with beautiful green spaces to walk around on a path so no muddy shoes. You can walk to Styal & Manchester Airport if feeling energetic. There are plenty of benches dotted around & a lovely little cafe to get a drink & a bite to eat at the carpark entrance. The carpark is 30p or 60p depending how long you plan to stay & the toilets are 20p. Also a play area for the children with swings etc Will definitely be returning!!
Great park with the river Bollin passing through the middle- on nice days you can sit at the edges and paddle in it. Our dog loves going into the river. It costs 30p in the car park which is not bad really. Dogs have to go on lead from car park to river whic is ok
