A 212-mile (341 km) long-distance footpath that runs from Portpatrick in Dumfries and Galloway to Cockburnspath in the Scottish Borders, passing through some of Scotland's most scenic and historic landscapes, including the Galloway Hills, the River Annan, and the Tweed Valley, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and opportunities to spot local wildlife such as red squirrels and peregrine falcons.
Really nice walk. Beautiful place to live!
Excellent walk. Blaze enjoyed his visit here.
A must walk if in the area. Whether its a wee walk along the river from Blairgowrie or you head right up the glen into the stunning scottish countryside
The Cateran trail is blocked by fallen trees between Bridge of Cally and Kirmichael. The supposed detour is a joke. It is down a very narrow animal track with fallen trees across it. Is there no budget put aside for maintenance?
It is a beautiful and calm place to spend a quality time with yourself.
Great walk and play park for the grandkids.
