Unexpectedly beautiful place. There are horses running about, be gentle.. and we saw hundreds of wild rabbits at every turn everywhere, we guess because the place has so few people about they feel free to roam. Unfortunately I was so busy watching them I didn't take any photos. Really lovely place to go walking.
Really like this place. Best for family outing.
Great park to spend a few hours walking the dog. We'll maintained and clean
The Chase Nature Reserve is a fantastic place to visit. If you're into nature, then this is the place for you. There are horses roaming around that you can stroke. They are very friendly. People do walk their dogs and the horses are not spooked. Plenty of birds to hear singing in the trees and lots of waterfowl too. Managed to spot some hares, which was a nice treat. We went by train. Got off at Dagenham East. There is about a 25 minute walk to get there, but we'll worth it. Will be going back, because my daughter and I didn't mange to walk the whole thing.
Wonderful, I love coming here. There are horses around however I have never gotten too close. There are educational posters around informing you of the wildlife present. Generally, a nice place to go and walk, although during the rainy season I recommend waterproof shoes as the off-road paths can get muddy and slightly flooded.
Great place for a walk to get away from it all and commune with nature for a while. Makes you forget about the rest of the world for a couple of hours. Joins up with other parks for longer visits. Better off with walking boots or wellies because it can be very wet & muddy, being made worse by the stabled horses grazing here - which are great to see. Good fun for exploring.
