This tranquil oasis in Yorkshire, England, is a beautifully restored Victorian-era garden featuring a stunning crescent-shaped pond surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant flowers. Meandering paths invite visitors to explore the garden's many hidden corners, where they can discover ornate fountains, statues, and other decorative features. A picturesque wooden bridge crosses over the pond, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
Someone has dumped rat poison pellets in this park! Next to one of the brick built shelters. Be careful with dogs and young children. Reporting to council....
This is Crescent Garden and is a great place, much improved by the conversion of the central disused pond into a raised bed, created and maintained by volunteers from the Friends of Waterloo Seafront Gardens, who work hard to improve and maintain this area.
Brings back childhood memories of the 4 gardens along the front of Waterloo. The parks were so well kept back then with floral displays and gardeners maintaining and keeping order. Now everything is left to grow wild and volunteers are left to pick up the pieces.
Lovely park well maintained by Sefton Council. I would highly recommend for a walk in the area. Lots of history dating back to the great recession. These parks created work for local men when not much work was about. I like to walk the full length of the parks nd I have also had the privilege to have worked on these parks and have shared some memorable moments with the team from Green Sefton.
Nice for families, water sports to watch, shops local and plenty to do. Pity about the people who can't pick up after them, but if you're a scruff, you're a scruff!
Didn't know it was called this. Been coming here all my life and it never disappoints as a short stop off / walk through or chill all day on a blanket.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Dogs allowed
