This 18th-century farmhouse in the picturesque village of Little Langdale is surrounded by stunning scenery, with the Langdale Pikes towering above and the tranquil waters of Elter Water lapping at its feet.
The Coleshill Food & Drink Festival was held here. Great atmosphere, good for the kids, thought the bouncy castle and things for the children were extortionate. Beer & spirits were average prices.
Peaceful in the early evening sunshine. Would have liked to see the brass plaque and its 5 fingered Priest (Church locked).
This visit was to commemorate the Queen's jubilee. It was a nice occasion. The town council always tries their best to make events on the croft fun, making Coleshill an eventful place. Today was the King's coronation event, a little wet, but a great event.
This is more of a village green than a park, but it has lovely views of the church and is a generally quiet space. Lots of dog walkers exercise their dogs there but it's also full of families. There are no adjoining roads and it's self-enclosed so very safe for dogs and small children.
Visited to take Christmas wreath in memory of my recently departed Dad. Lovely large, open space but a lot if dog walkers in such a sacred place. I was horrified to see dog poo on the lawn where my Dad's ashes were scattered and where I laid my wreath!
Beautiful green space for dog walking or enjoying the fresh air. Leads onto further walks towards Maxstoke and the Warwickshire countryside.
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
