Lovely place, really nice staff, beer garden was lovely. Nice sunny seating area and some in the shade too. Would come here again if I'm back in the area. The best spoons I've been to in a long time.
After reading that this might be one of the "better Wetherspoons" we were very disappointed. The meals came basically cold (except for the chips). The meat was all very fatty and chewy and ended up leaving a lot. I'm not convinced the pork was cooked properly. See pic. The staff seemed nice but didn't follow up on basic requests. Odd lack of red sauce. The table of six next to us asked for an extra glass of water as their meal was served and were told to go to the bar and get a glass and pour it themselves. The inside and outdoor areas are very nice. Our table had a big dirty sticker mark on it but hey ho. As nice as the place was, wouldn't go again for food. Seems a place that unsavouries drink too.
I've usually got my little dog with me so spoons lose a lot of custom from me for not being dog friendly! Enjoyed a lovely Katsu Curry and a pint of IPA, great food, and amazing value. The only thing lacking is the atmosphere, the large buildings they own need some background music to make the experience - especially when they are quiet with the type of clientele Spoons attract more so! Great food and cheap beer though, I enjoyed it and will be back again when the dog is at the groomers!
Visited while passing through on our holiday. We were hugely impressed with Leominster and it's lovely people and the Spoons in Corn Square is no exception. It looks like a little pub from the outside but once inside, this 'L shaped' building is gorgeous and just goes on and on until to reach an absolutly fantastic beer garden and one of the best outside areas of any spoons we've visited. Lovely spacious seating areas inside nd the food is exceptional. Early morning breakfast is a treat here but you can't knock a spoons brekkie can you they are the best. This is a great spoons with great staff and would definatly call again. No parking on site but there is in the town but that is no problem.
What a fantastic weatherspoons very clean food service breakfast was very good staff are really friendly . It's definitely worth a visit lovely old building apparently it was a post office sorting building. Will definitely come again although think it might have a ghost or two won't put us off
An impressive spoons with real fire, smart courtyard beer garden and a wealth of local history in pictures on the walls. Two breakfasts with two lots of unlimited hit drinks gor PS11.90. Once again great value for money and will be even greater value from the 3rd January with the Wetherspoons sale. Well worth popping in if you're visiting Herefordshire.
