A quirky, giant egg-shaped building situated on the banks of the River Thames in London, designed by architect Terry Farrell in 1993.
Well I'd like to give it a higher rating but it was closed. Only open for a few hours each weekend.
Very nice clean and modern building with pictures and items of interest from surrounding area. Pity nearby cafe is now closed
Beautiful place to visit Me and my partner parked near the Egg Shed and we loved it. We never meet such lovely and friendly people. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The views are incredibly and so many places to visit. Both of us (Carla and Paul) we would like to say to all the locals a massive thank you. We will see you next year again.
Through my research and on line postings I have made contact with this Ardrishaig community and it's magnificent architecturally converted old buildings. I am delighted that they have graciously accepted one of my paintings with a strong if remote CHALMERS connection to the village.
If you are interested in understanding history and impact of the Crinan canal in this beautiful area, you must go. Nicely done and also for children
Great local info an artefacts, nice range of souvenirs and lovely staff.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Wheelchair-accessible toilet
