Archive material, weapons and interactive displays trace the history of the regiment over 300 years.
Been taking my elder 2 kids over the years -now starting all over with my younger one..not gone inside due to closing time but will definitely come and have a look and have a good tour into history and man.. We do love passing by and just sitting down for a while and taking a breather!! A great garden of peace!! Me and my little boy finally went, a great tour, thoroughly enjoyed it, great for kids and family who loves exploring and finding!! Staff was very friendly and kind-didn't need to pay for the entry, so thanking you!! (Will go again to explore 2nd floor, couldn't see all due to appointment)!
This is a museum for adults rather than families. My kids had absolutely zero interest. We were actually there for the dr who zone on bury comic con day but you couldn't even get in the room so we left. Theres a cafe upstairs with lift access and toilets.
Fantastic visit! This is not a very big space but it is packed with interesting items. 3 floors! If you stopped and read everything, you could easily spend a day here. The entrance fee is under PS5 and lasts for a year! Best value I have come across. I really did enjoy my experience here and wish I had had more time.
Very nice place since it has been updated. Very informative and a very nice cafe on the 1st floor.
The Fusilier Museum is an excellent place to visit. Very interactive and well laid out. A historically well researched and respectful representation of the regiment, past and present. Well worth the entrance fee, valid for visits throughout the year.
