This charming cafe is nestled within the beautiful surroundings of a botanical garden, offering a tranquil atmosphere and stunning views of the lush greenery. The interior features a bright and airy conservatory-style design, complete with a glass roof and large windows that allow natural light to flood in. The menu boasts a range of delicious homemade cakes, sandwiches, and light meals, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Visitors can enjoy their food and drinks at one of the many outdoor tables, surrounded by vibrant flowers and the soothing sounds of nature.
Not great when I visited last week W friends. Empty tables outside hadn't been wiped. Not a fan of National Trust cafe format these days anyhow. Bring back the elderly volunteers who made all the tradional British food themselves please. Prepacked sandwiches had the atmosphere of a motor way services. Ok for a pot of tea. Better to pack a picnic and bring a rug.
The garden cafe has an inside seating area and an outside area. The outside area was right near the entrance of the National Trust site so was a good way to start our visit here. The garden cafe allowed dogs and serves doggie ice cream, which my dog hadn't tried before. She polished off the whole thing so none was wasted.
This is another lovely National Trust Cafe in the Dyffryn Gardens estate...The staff were all lovely and welcoming with nice smiles on their faces the service they delivered was excellent, even though the place was quite busy our order did not take long to arrive....... There was a good selection on the menu of both hot and cold food.....It had plenty of seating both inside and out for everyone to enjoy their food....
Very nice cream tea!
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
