Lovely place, PS9 pound for a full year of visiting, the cafe is a lovely artisan cafe and an artisan shop too. Plenty of parking, seating both inside the cafe, outside the cafe and around the gardens.
A hidden gem. The gardens are beautiful and even as an adult I enjoyed collecting the letters on the woodland trail to crack the code.
Visited for a drink today, although the cafe itself is lovely the service lets it down. Chose soft drinks from the fridge and took to the till. Had to ask for glasses which were dumped on the tray with the servers fingers inside the glasses and when we asked for ice we were told they didn't have any!
Lovely walled gardens with fountains and places to sit for coffee, tea etc. You can also buy plants and homegrown produce from the kitchen garden. Very calming and tranquil place to sit listening to the trickling of water from the pools and fountains. Cost of a latte approximately PS2.85.
Had a great cup of coffee and a huge slice of millionaire's cake and then a walk around the walled garden and the woodland walk on a lovely spring day. I also bought a slice of red velvet cake and a slice of coffee and walnut to take away. Very impressed with the cakes. A bit on the pricey side but delicious. Highly recommend
Lovely walk around the gardens and woodland walk. Bought a day ticket (PS5) but I think the annual ticket for PS9 would be worth it. After the walk we popped in the cafe for coffee and cake which was lovely
