These 12 acres of beautiful gardens feature a variety of plants, trees, and flowers, including a sensory garden, a rose garden, and a woodland walk. Visitors can explore the gardens at their own pace, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The gardens also feature several water features, including a large pond and a fountain, adding to the tranquil atmosphere.
I am loving this garden being brought back from near dereliction. Fabulous snowdrops in February and a stunning walled garden display in early summer. Only open for special events.
We visited The gardens at Eyton Hall for the first time on Sunday 19 February 2023. The garden was open as a fund raising activity for charity Shropshire Historic Churches Trust. It is open for similar activities during the year but not ever week . (Might be worth checking on their Facebook page) A long gravel drive leads to a formal Walled garden on your right as you approach the hall. A woodland area to the rear left and right of the hall has tracks through masses of snowdrops . It is relatively flat walking with some edged paths in parts of the woodland . It is not suitable for wheel chair users as the drive and the paths in the Walled garden are all gravel plus the informal walks through the woodland are likely to be too rugged in parts. The parking for the event was around the outside of the Eyton Village Hall building which is immediately to left of the drive of Eyton Hall . A gorgeous display of snowdrops , well organised with very helpful volunteer staff on the car park and gate.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Good for kids
