Lush ornamental gardens dating from the Tudor era with guided tours, kids' crafts and tea pavilion. We are open to visitors every Thursday through the season (March to end of November) from 11.00 to 3.00, last entry 2.00pm. We have 9 open days once a month on Sundays, details below in the events section.
A rather nice garden with a good variety of plants and space to walk around. A small cafe / coffee shop on site. Some benches dotted around if you wanted to sit down and take in the view. The tree house and the tall trees are probably the highlight. The reference to the RAF site next door is a nice touch. Not many things for kids to do but if they are a bit older they will still find the garden fun. The walled garden is nice to explore, as it has a variety of produce and plants. The toilets (portable ones) are best avoided and it's a bit of a shame as they had a bad odour even from a distance. Reasonable amount of parking at the front underneath the trees. (Free parking)
Nice place to visit. We went on one of their open Sunday. Tudor display, Tasty bacon roll and cake after your walk round the garden.
The gardens of Easton lodge is a grade 2 registered garden. It has been partially restored by a team of volunteers and the owners of Warwick House. The gardens are open every Thursday 11.00am -3.00pm and one Sunday every month 11.00am -5.00pm. Pre-booked tickets are PS5.50 or PS6.50 on the day. The highlights are the beautiful setting of the large lily pond and the walled garden. Ideal for picnics and plenty of space to relax. There is an onsite cafe selling hot and cold drinks and cakes and toilets are located near the entrance.
Quite nice here. The Tudor weekend, I think could have been better. The walled garden was nice, and a good variety of trees.
A really lovely garden in the process of restoration. Great event days with activities for children and entertainment. Dog friendly and disabled access. The volunteers are very helpful and well informed. The outdoor food kiosk has a good range of hot and cold drinks, and lovely variety of cakes. Gluten free food available on request.
It's okay, understand that it is still a work in progress but felt that there was less than I expected there to be. For someone who enjoys visiting open gardens, missed knowing what plants were- not many signs on the plants to describe them plus on our visit some of the place was sealed off as private. I expect the Japanese garden will be beautiful once finished. Perhaps visit again in a few years time to see the progress.
