This 100-acre park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. Visitors can rent a bike or take a leisurely boat ride on the lake, while kids can enjoy the playground and skate park. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including birds, fish, and other aquatic creatures.
Beautiful, large greenery. At first we thought we were in the wrong place, as to get there you go through a little quiet bunch of houses, but then all of a sudden this gem appears. Very impressed. Could use a toilet and or a cafe. But we were there for 2 hours with the dog. Had a mix of different trails, flat, forest, hills. Had a few exercise spots and play areas.
Great place for visit with the family and decent prices for drinks and food.
The park is always peaceful. Near the walkway, the far side opposite from the car park is a spiral path. At the top is a flattened area, a sign and the wonderful (to me, at least) view of a dead tree which a long time ago was struck by lightning.
It's beautiful this time of the year with the Blue Bells. This park has a lot of swings for the children, plenty of space with grass and pic-nic tables. The car park isn't big, but I think normally it won't be full because today it was a sunny day and it wasn't crowded.
A place worth to visit and enjoy a full day with family. Perfect for kids, adults and senior citizens. Only drawback is not a single cafe or coffee shop nearby. Plan your own meals and drink before visit.
This was a beautiful and clean park with lovely grounds though I'm not sure the car park is large enough to accommodate the numbers. Also the one lane leading to the car park can be a nightmare when there is no space to park and you're trying to get out of there while several cars are trying to get in. I was sat there for 10 minutes trying to get a space/get out.
