Great place for a falconry experience. The half day experience lasts around 3 hours and you get to fly various birds of prey including falcons, owls, vultures and eagles. The staff are helpful and genuinely enthusiastic about their birds. This is probably the only type of experience where you can get this close to these amazing birds.
What a magical experience. Reece clearly loves the birds and shared his expertise - we learnt loads about hawks, owls and vultures. Having a raptor fly to your arm is incredible. Can't recommend highly enough.
Suprised the Mrs with a full day VIP falconry experience. She thoroughly enjoyed it, she flew a good number of different birds, owls, eagles, a Hawk & a Vulture. She arrived terrified of Vultures, and by the time she left, Maggie (the Vulture) was her favourite. You can see all the birds have very different personalities but are all equally well cared for & our host Reece was friendly & extremely knowledgeable. Lunch in the bar was of a decent size/standard & gives you a chance to relax for an hour before continuing with the flying. We are now looking at taking our son to Talons & Targets in the future. Would definitely return in the future.

We had a fantastic time at The Hawking Centre, it exceeded all our expectations! We did the VIP half day falconry experience. Reece was great, he was very knowledgeable about all of the birds. He gave us a great insight into their personalities as well as facts about each different species. The close contact with the birds was amazing, we couldn't decide on who our favourite was although after much debate Gigi the Great Grey Owl might have topped it. The focus of the afternoon was definitely on getting the best experience for us in the time allowed. I could not recommend this more!
The full-day falconry experience was amazing! The birds were really beautiful and majestic, and Reece told us a lot of fascinating information about them. Zoe was very kind and understanding when there was uncertainty regarding my plans. Thank you so much!
