It is a beautiful pub in the countryside with polite staff and wonderful food. I had the 28 Day Matured Dunwood Steak 20oz for PS27.50 and it was cooked to perfection, worth every peny. The chips and onionrings were outstanding, golden, and crispy. The mushrooms were also cooked to perfection. 10/10 will recommend and come again Thank you The Hollybush Inn.
Well deserved five star review. Excellent pint of Guinness and the steak pie with veg and chips was exceptional. If you're ever passing stop by and try it for yourself you won't regret it. Great countryside views out the front as well.
A very pleasant lunch outside in the sunshine. We ordered fish & chips, all beautifully cooked with a very attractive salad on the side. The fish was enormous! The young man who delivered our food could not do enough to help, he had a lovely personality and was very obliging.
Steak pie was delicious and served with red cabbage, carrots and broccoli - fish and chips served with garden peas and lovely side salad - outstanding value for money- motorhome parking free - staff very friendly and accommodating- definitely a place worth visiting- walks and cycling along canal beautiful
