A 13-mile (21 km) horse-drawn canal boat trip that takes passengers through breathtaking Welsh scenery, including the Dee Valley and the picturesque town of Llangollen, with optional stops at historic sites like the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the highest canal aqueduct in the world, and the Horseshoe Falls, a beautiful waterfall on the River Dee.
Llangollen is. An amazing relaxing place to visit also plenty to do canal boat trips. Train trips. Lovely river I love it here you won't be disappointed.
I think I did part of this walk...it took me along part of the canal which is fed by the River Dee, I thought it must be too shallow to navigate here which two young locals also thought. The water was also the clearest I've ever seen in a canal
Absolutely breath taking walk from start to finish. I parked at the bottom of castle dinas, then moved onto higher ground, walking alongside the cliff edges ontowards worlds end, before circling back through the valley below and back towards Castel Dinas.
Fantastic drive out, visited and had food at the pondarosa cafe at the top of the pass.
Fantastic drive up the pass, cafe at the top is fantastic food is really nice and not expensive.
A beautiful place to walk.
