A stunning example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture, The Loggia is a magnificent building located in Glasgow, Scotland. Designed by renowned architect Alexander Thomson, it was constructed in the mid-19th century as a covered walkway and events space. The Loggia's intricate facade features ornate stone carvings, pointed arches, and towering spires, creating a dramatic and imposing presence. Its interior boasts a grand, vaulted ceiling adorned with intricate plasterwork and large, stained-glass windows that filter in kaleidoscopic colors. Today, The Loggia serves as a popular venue for weddings, concerts, and other cultural events, offering a unique and unforgettable setting amidst Glasgow's vibrant city center.
A really nice place to go with the family and is dog friendly. Take a picnic or buy food on site, take a change of cloths if you do the water maze.
Absolutely stunning! A great day out and something for everyone. We ate at the moat restaurant and the food was delicious, price was reasonable with good portion size. Take a towel for the water maze, you will get wet but have a fab time while you do.
Went today with my daughter ... loved the house but she was smitten by the Loggia.. this is a 19 year old student seriously into Jane Austen... I think she thought she had gone back in time!!! Fantastic day out ..Well worth the trip
Gorgeous Italian architecture in a quintessentially British castle garden, overlooking the lake and woodland trail. Secluded and quiet away from the main gardens, great place to take in your surroundings.
This part of Hever Castle is amazing, at the bottom of the Italian gardens is an amazing view of the Eden lake! A really beautiful place that I forgot it felt surreal being there, almost like a scene from a magical movie, would make a nice place to propose, relax and chill out for a while or enjoy an ice cream with an ice cream bar nearby, the Ice cream ranges from PS2.80+ There are ducks in the river who like to come out to see if you have food, I think you can purchase food from the entrance or ask someone there. Loved Hever Castle and think this was my favourite part of it!
Under going renovation, but still a great good day out with the family.
