Pleasant Victorian park set just behind the seafront. We brought our fish & chips back to eat on a bench here as the sun began to dip towards the horizon. Very nice although needs a tiny bit more TLC in places.
Love this place. Every morning to walk my dogs and get some peace
Gorgeous gardens, fabulous views, friendly walkers
Watch out for people throwing bread to seagulls! We had a great walk and it's a lovely place but it was spoilt at the end by a lady throwing fruit loaf to seagulls. For people who don't know raisins (which are in fruit loaf) can be very deadly to dogs, you need to go to the vets straight away if they eat them. We ended up with a trip to the vets and a nice big bill because I didn't realise straight away it fruit loaf she was throwing and both our girls ate some. Worst was she also had a dog and no idea raisins were deadly, not that you should be feeding brids bread anyway
The swings etc are behind the gardens at the marina and public toilets are in the Lake house
Lovely place, sheltered from the wind to walk the dog. Safe for kids to play too.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
Dogs allowed
