The Midhurst Museum demonstrates the rich history and heritage of Midhurst and district in West Sussex. Located in Knockhundred Row the small museum display changes every month to reflect the interests of local collectors while Museum Too contains a timeline of the area from the Stone Age to modern times. Regrettably the Museum Tea Rooms have closed. We have now expanded the Museum to use the space upstairs with additional artefacts and information about Midhurst's heritage and history.
Brought back memories. Especially of childhood comics! Also a lot of interesting coins and flint tools etc. Free entrance. Dogs welcome. Lovely friendly staff at the entrance. Well worth a visit.
Well worth popping in for a nostalgia hit and to see how much the world has been changing.
Fantastic traditional tea room. First time I've come back since BC (Before Covid), I'm so glad it has survived. Great place for a cream tea, and friendly service as always. The museum is small but interesting.
such a good and cute old place. good for an afternoon tea have decent stuff . Including gourmet gluten free options.the museum is also nice got medieval evereything you can want and need including spoons and school ties.the most zaniest things. this tea room is great they need a bit more promotion because its great and quite far out the city they could do a bit of deliveroo. the ordering could also be on a touchscreen as soon as you enter the building. the tea rooms are nice 2 parts good for like hiring a work party in a smaller part and then maybe a complete different party with friends in the bigger bit .toilets are clean
Delightful tearoom where we had very good sandwiches, cake and coffee. Interesting museum, with charming gentlemen on site to welcome visitors and chat about the exhibits.
I called in to this tiny museum this afternoon attracted by the display of characters from the children's tv of my childhood. (60s and 70s!) Wonderful cabinets with models of Clangers/Bagpuss etc. A friendly gentleman on duty nearby. I believe this display is here til end of the month. Take a look!
