100% recommend a visit here even if you are not that interested in cars. The experience was amazing. Although we visited on a Saturday and the factory was not manned the tour guide named Cousin showed us round and was very knowledgeable. I love looking around factories like this and seeing what goes into making a product. The smelling of the timber and leather brings back memories of the furniture making industry too. Intrigued by the design details of the vehicles so well explained by Cousin. Would recommend visiting the shop too.
Was very lucky to be given a gift voucher for a one day car hire for my birthday from my partner. Arrived very excited and met by the friendly team. Once all paperwork done. Was taken out to a beautiful blue plus 4. Me and my partner were orientated with all the features of the car. Also shown two route maps in car if we needed suggestion for our day ahead. So off we went and had a truly wonderful day in such a great car. Very exhilarating and fun day. I would highly recommend but was a luxury for us. Returned and met by the same friendly team.
What a fantastic visit to the Morgan factory a quality insight and great tour by Kenneth sharing his passion and knowledge on all things Morgan! The factory was in full swing on our visit with skilled craftsmen and women working on individual cars. This took me back to my early days in engineering seeing some of the skills still being used today! A refreshing outlook on British motoring heritage thankyou Morgan.
Had yesterday both a driving experience in a Morgan +4 and a factory tour and all I can say was that both were brilliant and beyond expectations. Arrived some 15/20 mins early and Kev who was already waiting in reception and was to accompany me on the drive, said if you're ready why not start the drive now, which we did. The weather was not brilliant for June but we went for the roof down. Kev was excellent company and directed me on a wonderful drive around the local countryside. On return had a quick and first class lunch in the cafe before starting the factory tour for which I was joined by my son. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and to get so close and observe the assembly and craftmanship was enthralling. Finished off by visiting the heritage centre and then the shop, and couldn't resist the temptation in buying a Morgan branded item of clothing, the quality of which looks very good. Even the shop cashier was most pleasant and chatty. When we left my son said to me that he had not exactly been looking forward to joining me on what had been a birthday gift from my family, but to his surprise he found the whole day very entertaining, and likewise enjoyed getting so close to the car assembly during the the factory tour. Would highly recommend the Morgan Experience.
What a fantastic 80th birthday present from my family! A tour around the factory, Afternoon Tea followed by being driven around the area in a Plus 4 by Les. It would have been wonderful to have driven the car (I've wanted a Morgan for about 50 + years) but my disability would not allow. All in all a great 'Experience' made all the better by helpful, friendly staff starting in Reception through to our Tour Guide , and the smiles of the workers, to the cafe staff and Les my personal driver. Thank you everyone
Superb venue, the whole experience was excellent, the cafe has a few Morgan cars inside and the shop and archive room (with more rare and unusual cars) are adjacent. Service was faultless, atmosphere was good, the place has a real buzz to it. The afternoon tea was lovely, the sandwiches in particular were superb. There was enough food to be filling but not so much to look greedy! Looking forward to a return visit in the summer!
