Awesome place for a day out. Very clean and maintained areas for kids. Orchard is nice. Lakes are tidy and have loads of species in them. Both adults and kids enjoy the spaces created. Like silent area, walk along the lakes, many lookouts. There are signboards everywhere making it easy to navigate. Lots of picturesque views with benches. Parking is enough for everyone.
We are returning customers. Family of 4, previously visited with friends and children. Includes x2 playgrounds, Cafe with basic items, lots of ducks, and geese. You can purchase bird food that costs PS1.50 each. Nice short walk around the lake and an option for bigger one if you choose so. Lots of people walking g their dogs, all very friendly. Parking is free or donation PS2. Lots of parking spaces.
Simply amazing place, costs nothing, great for dog walking, cafe with seating on site and the scenery is amazing.
A beautiful place to visit for children and adults alike. Educational and fun with separate playground areas for younger and older children; a beautiful gift shop, an amazing cafe (wonderful cake!) , inside and outside seating areas and full toilet facilities . Great place to walk and walk dogs as well with beautiful views and fabulous waterfowl - canada and egyptian geese , mute swans, and many varietiee of ducks inc tufted , pochard etc , grebes , coots, moorhens etc etc and lots of other wildlife. A very calming and grounding place to visit,
What a hidden gem for a traveler to stumble across. Looking for a park for a picnic on our journey, we found the Centre on Google maps and then spent nearly 2 hours sitting and walking around the lake. The centre and cafe appeared well presented but we didn't have time to try them.
I am a regular visitor to this site and enjoy the nature and birdlife, especially the waterbirds on the lake. The cafe is lovely with friendly staff and reasonable prices. There are also nice walks in the vicinity, along the Kennet & Avon Canal and the nearby reedbeds.
