This 18th-century farm building has been converted into a museum showcasing the history and culture of the Scottish Borders. The centre features exhibits on the region's agriculture, textiles, and Border Reivers, as well as a recreated Victorian-era street scene and a collection of vintage farming equipment. Visitors can also explore the surrounding countryside, which offers scenic walks and views of the nearby Cheviot Hills.
We went here to get lunch which was nice. The place is quite quirky and there is a gift shop on site as well.
Lovely little place staff where extra freindly brilliant food, gift shop was also had a good range of items. The little museum upstairs was amazing little displays showing you a history of mull.
A small, unusual & quirky museum. It's all in one room, consisting of historical dioramas, stuffed birds, rock samples and flower photos. Film was not working when we went, so we got a discount on entry. Building also has a large tea room and a small gift shop. All in all rather strange but charming.
Great little museum. Quite small but lots of information on local plants, geology, birds and other wildlife, plus history... Really lovely cafe with very friendly staff. :)
Lovely food, really interesting displays upstairs in the museum. Staff are really friendly.
Get a strong coffee. Nice scones. The info for the Mull display is a bit long winded.
