Today, the Old Waterworks serves as a museum and event space, offering insight into Chester's industrial heritage and the history of water supply. Visitors can explore the restored pumping station, admire the preserved steam engines, and learn about the engineering feats of the past.
Absolutely loved this place, quirky, laid back, above all friendly people. I found Nettie & very Ben accommodating and a whole heap of fun. Nothing was too much bother for them. Bless Mary we were very loud on our first night but she was soon full of smiles in the morning. Phewfff ... I liked the "not so the norm" feel it had about it. Well done & Thank You. I do hope I will see you all again in the future.... Natalie & Ace the quiet ones
Lovely campsite. Great facilities and lovely people that run it. We were really lucky to get a space at the last minute as the campsite we were supposed to be staying at was flooded. Ben and Nettie let us stay and I will make sure I go back to them in the future. Beautiful dome tents with gorgeous furnishings, tidy pitches and even a campsite built for you in the evening.. what more do you need.
Glamping tent, on a below average campsite. Boutique it is not. Dangerous site conditions on basically a building site.
