A stunning Victorian-era glasshouse nestled in the heart of Regent's Park, boasting a beautiful botanical garden with over 2,000 species of plants, flowers, and trees from around the world.
Wonderful place to go for a walk and a pic-nic, has the most variety of birds that I've seen in one place so it's perfect for all you fellow twitchers.
This is a fantastic play area for children. Well kept grounds and well maintained equipment that includes swings, slides, a zip line and some things that I don't have names for. There's also a fenced off area for toddlers that features a sandpit. This is the best local park we know of, and we visit often. It's down to visitors to keep the place clean and tidy on a day to day basis, and it general it seems they do so. Highly recommended.
Much more than a cricket pavilion. Has a bar serving soft drinks. Alcohol drinks, snacks and ice creams. Price competitive and good service. Opens again on 16th April. Open during the summer on Friday and Saturday evenings and on Occasional Sundays.
Great big open green space with super playground (slide, swings, enclosed sand pit, zip wire, spinning swing) and community orchard adjacent (mostly apples and blackberries in August).
I saw the man who prunes all the fruit trees in the orchard garden today... but the dogs barked at him. This playing field and country walk would be worth a 5 if they had toilets here or nearby
New children's playground added car parking limited. Plenty of shops opposite including places to get coffee etc
