Regularly visit The Portland Gallery. Never disappointed. The new display was a treat of quality art and artifacts. Particularly enjoyed the extra information the guide Jack shared with me enriching the experience. Would recommend.
I wasn't sure that I liked this new exhibition as much as the last, but on a second visit, I was more impressed. However, I much preferred how King Charles' pearl was displayed before. I took a friend round and she missed it completely until I pointed it out!

Great modern gallery free entry but extra for the Abbey tour which is very wothwhile visiting. Excellent parking, toilets, gift shop, good cafe and farm shop. There's also a large garden centre on the site with an additional cafe if the Harley one is full.
Amazing collection, pristine paintings and varied items to look at the miniature portraits look like they were just painted and the gold setting was so shiny and bright.
