This museum showcases a vast collection of radios, gramophones, and televisions, with over 1,000 exhibits on display, including some of the earliest and rarest examples of radio technology, as well as vintage broadcasting equipment and memorabilia.
What an amazing find. Filled to the rafters with all things radio, recording and broadcasting. Some stuff was very much a walk down memory lane, wind up gramophones, tape decks and old sound desks. Currently free to visit, but well worth a donation for this fabulous collection.
A fascinating private collection of radio examples and memorabilia. Well worth a visit and I highly recommend it. Entry is free but donations are welcome . . . Please note, no card facilities so make sure you have cash.
A really well put together collection of broadcasting equipment from the early 1900s up to 1970/80 ish. Really worth a visit to see how far we have come since the early days of the BBC. Spoke to the owner briefly and he was friendly and told me all about the equipment!
Very interesting and currently (May 22) free museum. Exhibits from the earliest days of radio until the 1980s. Neil is very friendly and knowledgeable. It's worth a visit even if you're not a radio buff as there are early recording devices and recordings too. Highly recommended.
Great little museum filled with interesting things. Fascinating to see BBC broadcasting desks and wartime radios. A must visit if in watchet
