This 5-acre botanical garden in Lincolnshire features a stunning collection of over 2,000 species of plants, including roses, herbaceous borders, and a variety of trees and shrubs. The garden's design is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, with meandering paths, tranquil ponds, and ornate stonework. Visitors can explore the garden's many themed areas, including a sensory garden, a wildlife garden, and a fruit and vegetable garden. The garden also features a charming tea room serving homemade cakes and refreshments, as well as a plant centre and gift shop.
It was a first visit so my daughter could take some photos. I was honestly blown away by this beautiful Victorian garden. Enter via the Oval with its amazing trees and shrubs. Then, carry on to the Sexby garden itself. It's like a maze of paths through all the plants, flowers, and shrubs. Incredible roses, which I didn't expect to see. The whole park is beautiful, so take time to explore!
Very nice and beautiful garden. It's a gem in the area. Surrounding is so beautiful with lakes and flowers. Ample space to sit and relax big children play area is available.
Lovely part of the park and the outside flower beds. The wisteria is a delight to look at and the plants are maintained well with benches to relax on.
One of the most beautiful garden I've ever seen! I love here but don't forget to bring lead for your dogs! Squirrels were running away from running dogs, it looks so scary...
Wisteria blooms were amazing! The garden is very well maintained and clean.
A lovely safe place to just amble among nature. The gardens are so pretty and well maintained with plants and flowers of all descriptions, if like me you love photographing nature there is an abundance of subject matter. There are lakes and ponds with lots of wildlife to observe. There is a great place to buy something to eat, lots of seating to sit even to take your own packed lunch. There is a massive child play area too that the kids will love, very safe too. All in all this is a lovely place to visit to amble away at your hearts content.
