The Wallace Tower is a 19th-century Gothic-style tower situated in Ayrshire, Scotland. This 120-foot-tall monument honors the life and legacy of Sir William Wallace, a Scottish hero who fought for independence in the late 13th century. The tower's design features a striking combination of stone and brick, with a prominent clock face and a slender, tapering shape that rises to a pointed summit. Visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Ayr is a beautiful town and visitors are welcome. Some beautiful architecture visible on the tower. Unfortunately cannot tour the tower due to to it being unsafe above public access point. Love the area.
