Wow, we popped into here today for a spot of lunch and it did not disappoint. We had a sandwich and a hot drink and these were very tasty. Staff helpful and friendly. The views are amazing and we were happy watching the sheep graze from our sofa whilst we had lunch . The building is bright and comfy and surrounded by wild flowers. We will definitely be visiting again. There is a small indoor play area complete with a play kitchen. Toilets are of a high standard and have a really good baby changing facilities. Plenty of parking What3words: ///cluttered.outfit.nightlife Going to return for a cooked breakfast very soon. We had two sandwiches and two hot drinks for around PS16, good value in my opinion and a stunning view.
Lovely looking site, looks promising once it is finished! The cafe building looks really cool from the outside. Could do with a little bit of music playing inside to create more of a vibe, considering it's such a large space. Sadly our lunch took over 30mins to arrive despite the cafe not being busy. Unsure why it took so long (2 plates) but once we asked where it was, they brought it over 5 minutes later. The ploughman's wasn't quite what we hoped for PS15- dry salad, bread, some pieces of pickled onion, cheese, saus roll. Felt like it needed some dressing and chutney? We appreciate the pressures on hospitality and rising costs but this felt sub-par. Maybe a more limited menu but done better? This place definitely has loads of potential with the right ideas/execution! Hope they can make it work.
Great (not so little) coffee shop just off of the main road. Ample parking and set in surrounding nature. Great alternative to commercialised service stations.
