A 500-acre theme park in Chertsey, Surrey, featuring over 100 rides, shows, and attractions, including rollercoasters, water rides, and a zoo, with themed areas such as Pirate Shores, Lost Kingdom, and Angry Birds Land, catering to visitors of all ages.
WARNING. I own a caravan on Forest View adjoining Threplands park. There is a dog field situated on the park for all dogs to have a run around. My two Yorkshire terriers were attacked by one of two border terriers on Thursday. fortunately they were not hurt as I lifted them off the ground but was also jumped upon by this dog. I would like to bring this to everybody's attention on these two parks that you must be aware of other dogs in the field or you will end up with abuse like I did from a nasty person who had no control over his dogs.
Clean and cosy holiday cottages - some of which are dog-friendly - situated near Cockermouth. We stayed in Rosella which was perfect with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. With the heating on, the cottage quickly got lovely and warm - perhaps TOO warm, but this is hardly a criticism staying here during a very wet and windy November week. The site location is great; Aldi is 10 minutes away and Tesco, Asda, Morrison's, McDonalds and KFC are all 20 minutes drive away. It's also situated close to the Lakes for sight-seeing; for example, Keswick is only 14 miles away.
Just under new management. Great location, beautiful views. Lots of improvements coming. Great little coffee shop next door. Great prices for holiday home ownership in Cumbria.
Lovely place with excellent views, the lodge is one of the best I've been too, would book here again, recommend to everyone.
Holiday cottages allin tip-top condition. Well worth a visit
Great place to stay, friendly owners
