Tinkers Park Steam Rally is a popular annual event held in the United Kingdom, showcasing a vast collection of steam-powered vehicles, machinery, and equipment. The rally features an impressive display of vintage steam engines, locomotives, and road rollers, as well as demonstrations of steam-powered sawmills, threshing machines, and other historic equipment. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of exhibits, including miniature steam engines, model steam locomotives, and even steam-powered organs. The event also offers a variety of activities, such as steam train rides, tractor rides, and a vintage fairground with steam-powered carousel and other attractions.
Our son is transport mad, so seemed like the idea day out for him. There is really not much for the price of it though. The indoor train exhibits were great, but there is barely 2 fair organs, whereas the website states museum. It's a great trip for someone who likes that stuff, but PS8 per person feels way too steep
Great varied and relaxed traditional show with something for everyone.
A great event on a fabulous site. The stewards were brilliant at seeing everyone in and out. Everything well signposted, and all was made even better by some sunshine. Several fields of engines, vehicles, traders and refreshment. Narrow guage railways to ride upon and a good museum to boot.
A great day out, lots of steam engines, classic cars, and catering. My only negative is that the whole site, except one stall holder, was cash only. I haven't really used cash since 2019. Even the beer tent and food/coffee vendors were cash. We had limited cash so couldn't buy refreshments etc. which was a pity. Knowing that for future, it was a really enjoyable day.
Very good could do with some more classic cars
Excellent day spent with over 30 steam engines. Its becoming smaller with less exhibits and cars and bikes. Still a great day out.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Good for kids
