This 14th-century tithe barn in Somerset, England, is one of the largest and most impressive in the country, featuring a grand, aisled interior with a majestic timber roof and stunning stone walls.
Gorgeous ancient building hidden away in the woods. Lots of historical features to talk about with the kids.
Attended a gorgeous wedding reception here and everything was stunning. It was a bit of a walk from the church as there isn't parking space at the Barn but the setting, inside and out, and seeing two people start their lives together was incredible
After 20 odd years of visiting Pilton & Glastonbury I had never heard of Tithe Barn. Bumped into a lovely guy who asked if we had been, gave us directions n walked over. Lovely example of how propper restoration work can keep the essence and feeling of a 14th century building, loved it
It was open specially for Pilton Market this weekend. Was very good all food was home made. Worth the visit any time Barn in excellent condition. Pilton Village is always also worth a visit. Home to Glastonbury festival on the summer. Enjoy if you visit.
Great old barn hidden down a narrow footpath. If you like ancient buildings it's worth a visit. Roof has been renovated due to a fire but lots of the old barn remain
This barn is absolutely beautiful to visit. What a lovely place to feel English Heritage.
