A picturesque beach on the Gower Peninsula in Wales, known for its golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water. The beach is surrounded by limestone cliffs and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding coastline. It's a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports, with a cafe and toilets nearby. At low tide, the beach reveals a vast expanse of sand, perfect for building sandcastles or playing beach games. The surrounding area is rich in wildlife, with seabirds and seals often spotted in the vicinity.
Torcross is a lovely little place to stop at. The beach is stone rather than sand but that doesn't stop it being one of the loveliest beaches I've visited
Lovely beach little small Sandy stones
Had a wonderful swim here on a sunny Friday morning. Bit of a steep drop into the water from the wobble beach, much easier to get in than to get back out! Gets deep quite close to the beach, so a nice swim without getting too far out
Lovely beach (shingly) and laid-back vibe. Nice pub and cafe on sea front, but no funfairs, tattoo parlours or candy floss! Toilets in car park (reasonable daily parking charges). Freshwater lake just behind the beach with lots of interesting bird life. And of course the Torcross tank - lots of history here too.
Completely Unique family beach. Beautiful views clean clear water. A great traditional pub, cafe/takeaway and big car park. Definitely one of the top places to visit in the South Hams
A pebble beach that goes on for miles. A good beach to swim from as there is a gradual slope into the sea. There are a couple of cafe/bars close by for refreshments.
Wheelchair-accessible car park
Good for kids
