This 150-acre park features a large lake, walking trails, and plenty of green space for picnics and relaxation. The park is also home to a miniature railway, a children's play area, and a cafe serving refreshments. Visitors can enjoy boating on the lake, feeding the ducks, or taking a leisurely stroll around the park's scenic perimeter.
Dog friendly park, plenty of space to run. Playground and skate park, also tennis courts. The hall is very run down and unused which is a shame, with a sunken garden which needs some attention. There is also a stream running through it which the dogs love. Like most council run parks nowadays it needs some money injecting into it. It has two car parks
Lovely play area for little ones and another area for bigger kiddos. Fantastic new skate park too. A great smooth wide path way all around the park for walkers for kids on bikes. Dog friendly too. Area kept nice and clean. Big grassy areas for football, tennis courts available for hire.
This park has a number of recreational facilities,a flower garden ,secret garden and parking area.Beautiful park with paved area to walk ,good for children to play and do activities.
Very tidy park. With well kept gardens. Picnic bench could do with being renewed as its getting a bit rotten and seats missing. We picked up some litter that had been discarded from the nearby burger franchise. Surprisingly tranquil even with the busy road less than 200 yards away.
Good park...my children (son age 6 , daughter age 10) like the park... they have a good play area & skateboard ramps.. tennis courts and plenty of room for 5 a side or cricket etc...
