Very good museum with a little bit of everything. The Spanish Armada exhibition was a lot better than expected. They had a Derry Girls TV show exhibition when I visited which was great as a fan. There is also a piece about the Ferry and Irish history that was super educational. The views from the Roof Top are good as well. Price tickets are very affordable which was a big plus.

I had the great pleasure of visiting the Tower Museum in Londonderry a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that it was a fascinating experience in a really well laid out Museum. The thought process in the layout was exemplary and the way finding simple to follow. I was captivated by the exhibition of artifacts from a lost Armada ship. The descriptions of all of them were so well done that nothing was left to the imagination. All in all a captivating Museum and exceptional value for a modest entrance fee. The Lady on reception was welcoming and very friendly. She explained how to get the most from the museum and and all the artifacts. Many thanks for a wonderful experience.
Excellent variety of exhibits from the town and in regards to Irish history. Spanish Armada artifacts and history of the conflict between Ireland and England (which gives great insight into the eventual troubles).
Well worth a visit. A fascinating mix of contemporary pop culture ("Derry Girls") an extensive history of the north of Ireland (excellent!), the Spanish Armada (much more complicated than I'd understood it) and the discovery of a wrecked Armada ship. Topped off with great views from the tower top.
