Very pleasant in the sunshine. Got all you need there. I liked the log flume and the splat the rat stall. The biosphere living rainforest was dull but the PYO magic mushrooms were good
Definitely a beach for those who like sailing, own their own boat or jet ski. If I was one of them I would probably give 5 stars. We visited for a look around the town then the beach for a swim and body board. However there were lots of boats launching it was hard not to feel a little unsafe to let the kids swim and play. It is a beautiful beach and very clean. Water was calm and shallow when we visited. If it's a play and surf you are after, there's definitely better beaches nearby. Carpark is next to the beach. Toilets and shower also available. Cafe located on the beach and the town with a good selection of shops, cafes and bars is a short walk away. If you want a a quieter visit to this beach, it's worth walking away from the main access ramp along the beach.
This was our favourite beach in this part of North Wales. Being there in March, we could walk the dogs anywhere along the beach, but note that from April onwards, there are fines up to PS1000 if you walk your pooch on the wrong one. We had beautiful blue sky's and a very pleasant temperature for March. It's a small coastal area and looks notably wealthier than most in this region with the golf course and lovely houses overlooking the beach and sea views. In town there are public toilets and plenty of places to eat and have a drink. Quite a few boutique shops and surf style shops. Lovely little harbour sets a picturesque view, but the beaches are what draws the holiday makers.
Lovely soft sandy beach, kids loved the sand dunes, all very pretty and not too busy during half term week.
We had an absolutely wonderful day at the beach! The water was clear and the sea close. The car park was full but they opened up a space where you could park on the grass for PS5/day. You have access to the toilet, and on the side they have showers to get the salt off you. On the left side you are not allowed with dogs. On the right side (a very long potion) dogs can run freely. In an boat (old) there was a bar on the beach where you can buy: water, juice or beer. 300 meters above, you find a shop where you can find beach toys for children and ice cream.
One of the nicest beaches in the UK, shops are only a 5 minute walk away and there is a little shop at the top of the hill that sells Ice cream and everything you need to the beach. Highly recommend visiting this beach if you're in the area. Took my dogs here last week and they loved it too
