Traigh na Cleavag, also known as the Cleavag Beach, is a picturesque beach located on the west coast of the Isle of Man. The beach is known for its stunning natural beauty, with crystal-clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and a scenic backdrop of rolling hills and rugged cliffs. The beach is surrounded by a variety of wildlife, including seals, dolphins, and seabirds, making it a popular spot for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat.
Amazing beach, I was here after sunrise and I had the whole beach to myself! Park your car at the end of the road at the gate, from there it's 5-10 minutes to walk to the beach.
Great spot for a sunset, was really quiet when we were there. Definitely recommend climbing the hill next to it as the views are unbelievable, worth the steep slog.
This is a lovely beacb, great views South. This beach is a good starting point and stop off on the way to the temple. Well worth the visit. It is useful you have the cafe closeby for refreshments and you can always get your take away or bread etc from Croft 36.
