Pirate-themed park with a mini-golf course, soft play area, paddling pool & shipwreck playground.
Great place to take young children age 12 and under! .. really good value for money with an indoor soft play ( with air conditioning on ! ) area and cafe that host great selection of meals and snacks at good value prices that won't break the bank. Also sharing options like pizza etc . It also has an outside splash paddling pool / sand / play area that is enclosed so you do not have to worry about little runners escaping!
Has the potential to be really good, but sadly we did not experience that. We paid for outside and inside tickets to find out the play park is currently closed so just had the paddling pool. The soft play was busy and we were told we needed to be on a waiting list. An hour passed so went to see when it would be our turn, to find out we had not been put on list. An hour and half we waiting for the soft play.
This sounds as if it would be fabulous - if it was all open! Went last weekend with my daughter and grandchildren who were looking forward to the paddling pool. Unfortunately we were told that the outside was all closed due to vandalism. They enjoyed the indoor soft play, but there was no price reduction for the reduced facilities. I hope it is all up and running again soon as sounds as though it would be a great venue!
We had fun but the soft play is quite obscured so you can't see from any angle the children who are on the top And is not supervised. Couldn't find my child at one point for about 10 minutes enduring this time this afternoon to climb into the frame to find him. In fact he was off in a corner watching a video screen that I didn't know was there. Very overpriced because the whole adventure playground area is closed so they charge you PS9 just to use the paddling pool and then extra money on top to use the soft play rather than just making one piece. But my child did have fun so that's why he's got three stars.
Adventure golf with a pirate theme, can life get more epic than this? 18 hole course which is probably not that difficult, but very fun. We played in the rain so things were a bit squishy and the ball didn't run and bounce of the sides as it should, but this just added to the challenge. I think it cost us a fiver each for a good 45 minutes of family competitiveness......I won by the way. HA!!
Disappointed that the outdoor space has still not been repaired and is therefore not in full use (pirate ship is no longer there). The kids loved the paddling arras though. Average score overall considering the cost and limited outdoor activities.
